FIRST CONCERT? I can't even remember who I was with at this concert... but it was Van Halen - when Sammy Hagar was the lead singer.
FIRST JOB? WMSL-AM in Decatur, Alabama - this will tell you my age... I ran the Wolfman Jack Show on reel to reel.
FAVORITE FOOD? I've been blessed with a husband who loves to cook. Ryan makes the best steaks, Mexican food, chicken wings... I could go on and on.
FAVORITE MOVIE? Watching DVDs is somewhat of a pastime for me. So it's hard to name just one. I can think of two that come to mind that I've seen lately - "Madagascar" and "Hitch".
WHAT PERSON YOU WERE MOST EXCITED TO MEET and/or INTERVIEW? I have been lucky enough being in this business for as long as I have to interview and meet a lot of people. I met Celine Dion when she released her first CD and she didn't speak English very well. We met at a music convention in Los Angeles. My favorite interview was with Carly Simon over the phone a couple of years ago. I felt like I was talking to an old friend and we were just catching up on each others' lives. She was very unpretentious and nice. Nothing you would imagine a music legend like her would be like to a radio person.
WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU WERE NOT IN RADIO? I would be in law enforcement or I would be a lawyer that specialized in protecting children.
WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE? I admire a person who can do it all AND run a household without losing their mind!
I WOULD NEVER GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT... my brain book. I call it my brain book because I can't function without it.
OTHER INTERESTING TIDBITS: The holidays are my favorite time of the year because people seem to be nicer, more patient and not in so much of a hurry to go nowhere.
If I had the money and could do anything when I retire, I would travel the entire world first class!
