The Heritage Club

On August 30, the Heritage Club becomes HuntsVegas for the 6th Annual Casino Night!  You can play large and support local education as the Heritage Club teams up with The Schools Foundation for this event.

The annual Casino Night boasts black jack and roulette game tables, live and silent auctions, music, food and entertainment to last all evening.  Tickets to the event are $30 and corporate sponsorships are available.  All proceeds benefit The Schools Foundation and a portion of each contribution is tax deductible.

The Schools Foundation provides financial and resource support to the three public school systems in Madison County through a variety of programs including student scholarships, teacher grants, staff development, and technology deployment.  Funds raise by the Schools Foundation are fairly allocated to Huntsville City, Madison City, and Madison County schools.

This year's event honors the memory of Matthew McClain, a student at the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham who died this past April.  "He believed that getting a good education was the key to success in life so he would have really enjoyed himself at an event tlike this,' said his father Scott McClain, a local business developer as well as president of the boards of both the Heritage Club and The Schools Foundation.  "I think it is very appropriate for the Huntsville community to come together to celebrate his memory and support our three school systems," McClain said.

Call The Heritage Club (533-0350) for more information on purchasing tickets, making a donation or becoming a corporate sponsor.
