The first "CAMP PRINCESS" is scheduled for the summer at Decatur's historic Princess Theatre. The new educational program for young people will explore the performing arts with sessions is music and theater. Birmingham Children's Theatre will conduct Theatre Workshops for Wee Folks and Renaissance Theatre will provide Theatre on Stage! for ages 8-17. Wiregrass Hospice asks "Do you have a couple of hours a week?" They are seeking volunteers to be a friend to a patient with a terminal illness in the Decatur-Hartselle area, or if you want to help in the office, they can use your help! July 10 - Hibbett Sports and The Decatur Mall presents Jerraud Powers, cornerback for the NFL XLIV Indianapolis Colts and former cornerback for the Auburn Tigers as he teams up with the Morgan Lawrence Chapter of the American Red Cross! Come and meet him (between 10 & 12 at the Decatur Mall) and get his autograph ($10 per autograph) with all proceeds to benefit the Chapter.
